I am probably opening a large can of worms but I want some opinions on this subject. I am getting ready to redo my boat and am looking at gel coat colors I have a 1966 sakonnet with the blue interior my 1st. question. Is anybody out their that would put a tan gel coat instead of the blue because to me it looks much better against the wood console and the back seat am I alone in this.

Question number 2 what is the original exterior paint color for my boat and who has the original decals are they out their.

thank you

joem

Joem, if you want to keep your boat original go with the blue gel coat. If you change the color, it may make the next buyer suspicious. The exterior color is Whaler white. I'm know some of the guys can lead you to the best manufacturer for the gel coat. Also, many times you can find the Whaler decals on ebay. Regards, Jay
