Has anyone had experience with the Gibco
Flex-Mold product used for repairing non-skid
areas

I have not heard anyone mention that product on the FORUM before, so you may be exploring new territory. Let us know how it works or worked for you.

jimh - to fill in a few gaps; this product is advertised by MiniCraft.com. They advertise as an OEM supplier of gel coat to
BW and others. I've asked for more poop on whether patterns are available for Whalers.
I'll follow up when I hear from them.

I used flex-mold to redo the entire floor of my 71 Nauset. It worked great after a little
practice. I dealt directly with Gibco as they are 15%-20% cheaper than Mini-Craft.

They have a kit they can send you with 2"x3" samples of the different patterns.
You must ask for Whaler patterns otherwise you only get their generic patterns.

Check out this web site http://home.earthlink.net/~shymu/pattern.html

BillS - I've got some floor repairs to make,
so this sounds like it will be the way to go.
I'll check out the Gibco site. Thanks

I have just finished major repairs on the floor of a 75 montauk. Now I need to make it look uniform is the flex-mold good to recover the entire floor or should I use Rino coat. I will be spraying the entire boat with Allgrip I would like it to look good but it doesen't have to be perfect. The boat is being restored for a 13 and 11 year old
