I have spider cracks in the non-skid deck, and other cracks around in the interior of my 1978 Montauk. Question: Can I with a paintbrush apply thinned gel-coat over the non skid floor and fill the cracks over coat them and still maintain the non-skid texture? Repairs on the flat areas will not be a problem. I have also thought about just applying gel-coat over the whole interior. How do I paint gel-coat? What kind of brush? Do I tip I like Awl-grip? Is it like painting oil paints? Also at Spectrum, for 1978 Boston Whaler they made two colors lt. grey or desert tan. What color do I have on my 78’ Montauk. It does not look tan, but off white. Thanks a lot Archie
