Ok, here is the question for the wood worker's & chemists. Recently, (last two years), I stripped bleached & sanded some of my oiled teak on my Revenge 25.

It is now prime varnish time for the new season. I have long lost the can and identy of the spar varnish I used. I do remember that it was a well known name brand with UV protectors. Is there any dis-advantage to changing brands in a recoat mode, or do I need to strip and start over? By the way the exposure of the existing finish is less than 3 weeks in sun in a sub-artic (north channel) environment.
