posted 04-27-2002 12:33 PM ET (US)         I have a 1986 11' whaler that was given to me (without engine) and would like to turn it into a sport. I have purchased a 1996 25HP Merc electric start motor but kinda did that before thinking what it would take to do all the remote steering and throttle control linkages. If I build a steering console would a standard Teleflex steering system work with this? If anyone has done this on this boat or anything similar I would appreciate your help. Thanks
