Author	Topic:   Montauk rub rail is loose
bboeri	posted 06-07-2002 04:24 PM ET (US)         The rub rail on my 88 Montauk is loose (comes away from the hull) by the side entries (where the console is) on both sides. Any ideas as to how to secure it? All other points along the hull are fastened tightly. Thanks for the help. Bob

There are some very informative debates on screws vs, rivets that has taught me quite a bit about fasteners in general.
