'67 Nauset/Montauk 17'. Previous posts have recommended the Swivel-Eze Ski Pylon from Overton's. Overton's agrees. Anybody installed a pylon on their 17'. Any pictures? Install to floor and transom x2? Splash well and transom x2? What is the best way to conteract the "physics?" Thanks, CLW |

ChocLabWhaler, Yes the Swivel-Eze pylon will work nicely. The installation is pretty straightforward. Screw the base to the floor of the boat and the studs for the braces go on the transom. Here is a similar thread: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001910.html Use as large a fastener as the Swivel-Eze will allow, seal your holes and you'll be fine. |
