posted 07-18-2002 12:51 AM ET (US)         Can anyone recommend a shop/person in NC who can gelcoat my boat(s). I'm new to the forum and am very impressed with all of the great information, but I think that gel-coating both the interior and exterior of my 24 is a bit more than I can handle. In addition to the equipment necessary, it seems that there is quite a bit of experience necessary with the proper additives/amounts/techniques, such that it will limit the amount of finish sanding/buffing. I have been talking to people as far as South Florida about doing this job, but would prefer to stay here in the state, if possible, most likely somewhere on the coast. All help greatly appreciated.
