Bob V	posted 08-07-2002 04:47 PM ET (US)         Anybody have a slick solution for preventing chaffing of your rub rail from the anchor line. I put a new rub rail on the boat 2 years ago & it's getting severe chaffing "slots" around the radius of the bow. My original bow cleat on the boat doesn't wrap around the rub rail like the bow cleats on newer Outrages. Any suggestions or products to protect the rub without requiring special shop fabrication of radiused protection plate? It sure would be nice to find an aluminum rub rail cover x 18" in length which matches the radius of the bow...
