Greetings. I have aquired an old Evinrude 60 for my 17 ftr. How hard would it be to use an old Morse control instead of the usual controls? Is it a major hassle and not worth the hastle? The Morse control looks so much
better. Thx!

wayneman,

should be no problem at all. the morse mt3 is universal. i'm using one on my sakonnet with a suzuki dt90. there is some internal adjustments to be made (push/pull) for the cables.

best place i found for a new control was at
https://www.surplusunlimited.com/storefront.htm

$219 plus shipping i think.

Crosley; that's great. Thank you. I shall look into it. Right now, I also have a problem with a shortage of cables. I figure
it will be snowing by the time this retrofit is done. I'll still go out.
