shoctor	posted 01-02-2003 12:20 PM ET (US)         Ok last question about the Tohatsu then I will share photos before and after. Does anyone know if the bolt pattern for 1996 Tohatsu 50 are the same as a 1984 Evinrude 65/70 hp? Shane
Bigshot	posted 01-02-2003 02:32 PM ET (US)             Normally I would say yes. But being a 50hp, they might be different. Most engines 50 +up have the same pattern and then a smaller pattern for the smaller engines. I would assume though that it will be the same....call a Tohatsu/nissan dealer.
shoctor	posted 01-02-2003 03:23 PM ET (US)             Just got off the phone with opne he said they should bolt right up and that the 96 50 hp is actually a 3 cyl engine that is buil like a tank. I am so excited. Is it bad to be this turned on by outboards?????????? Shane
