I am mooring my boat on Lake washington. Although it is behind a locked gate it isn't that secure looking. How do I install a lock on my cuddy cabin door? It gets worse because the hatch part (top that slides down) appears to have some hardware missing and so it is this big piece of plexiglass (?) stuff with no handles,etc.

I don't want to screw in a hasp and lock on this wood because I am going to have to restore it someday.

Also, the hardware is missing for the cabinet under steering wheel. Can someone tell me what/how to replace that as well.
