I bought a revenge and need some advise on some cosmetic issues. Rust stain removal? There are a
couple of black nonskid adhesive pads on the deck as well as the dash area it looks like they will peel up Ok but I'm sure the adhesive will stay on the deck what works good that will not damage the gelcoat. Has any body used rain X on the rag top windows or what will work to repell rain? The boat has no wipers any ideas and did the factory out fit any with wipersdo you mount the wiper motors through the fiberglass at the bottom or the aluminum at the top of the window.

The black appliqués seen on the console are likely originals from Whaler to dress up the appearance of the console. It is not unusual for an edge to have lifted up. I think you could use rubber cement to hold them down.

As far as I know, no recreational Whaler hull left the factory with "non-skid adhesive pads" installed on the deck. The deck surfaces are always finely detailed non-skid pattern gelcoat. These sound like something added by a previous owner.

Windshield washers were an option. They were installed on the upper edge of the windshield. There are several photographs which show this detail in CETACEA Page 44.

I have a 20' Revenge and the dash was doing the same thing you mentioned I just took the plastic covering off it,, and refinished it to my liking. It's tricky especially if you are going for a color. I did mine white and it looks great.
