I am in the process of renovating a 9'Tender. The bottom has this nasty reddish colored bottom paint that rubs off on everthing. Half the paint is off...the rest comes off this weekend. But, the gell coat still has this reddish tint to it. I would like to see a nice bright white bottom, is this possible? Or should I repaint it with something?

It may be very hard to totally remove tint. I have heard some people recommend Easy Off oven cleaner.
