Richard there, shipped me a new rub rail right away.I'm sure I could have picked one up locally- but since he was refered to as helpful- the $17 for shipment is worth the time saved hunting around here ( I hope).Price was about $150 for the black newer style rub rail. Richard said if you want to protect the boat- lean toward the new rub rail since the old one does not compare- except for the vintage look. When my kid is grown- maybe I'll revert back to the vintage- after all the banging around is done! THX for the referral Jimh.
