Can you remove the silicone between the floorboards, push in the wire and silicone over it? |

I used an electrician's "fish tape" to find the way through the tunnel. They're handy to have for all similar wiring projects. |

I faced the same probelm in my old '85 BMW 325. On a suggestion from the BMW forum I bought a IROCK transmitter at Radio Shack for 30 bucks. It plugs into the line outlet on any CD walkman type of player (or MP3 player). Velcro to your console next to your radio, and play your CDs without wiring. This device is tiny, about 1.5" X 2" X 1/2" and works great. It needs to be close to your radio because the FCC limits its range so it won't interfere with other folks' radios. Then take it with you and use it in your car or any other radio. |
