Hey everyone.I have a 1986 Montauk that happened to pound up against my buddies outboard engine for a few hours while we were diving in the ocean. Now I have some holes in my hull, 5 total about the size of tennis balls. Then we had a 37 mile trip back home across the ocean. I know a lot of water got in the hull.

What should be my first step in repair? I have never worked with fiberglass, where can I get some hints and tricks on glass repair? How should I drain my hull?

Thanks in advance everyone....You are all the best!!

In the Reference section, see Boston Whaler's reproduced hull repair instructions. There is also an excellent repair article on a Montauk by Tom Clark and Taylor Clark.
