Hello-

My 1995 Mercury 150 clicks going up and going down.
But this only happens in certain spot. (like when its near the bottom/trimmed all the way down)

Has anybody else experienced this before?
Or know how to fix it?
The trim also has a slow leak, it usually falls down
within 30 mins. of tilting it up.

Are these two problems related? Or are they 2 seperate problems?

Thanks!

First the easy answer. The clicking and falling are not related. Assuming that you are not losing trim/tilt fluid, you should loosen, then tighten your manual release screw. This screw is on the side of your engine mounting bracket and will be marked. I am going to assmue that you are referring to an electrical clicking sound that may be coming from your relays. It likely that you have a bad connection and need to check around the relays for corrosion or something loose. Also. maybe one of your relays is tired and need replacement, though that is rare.
