I am about to repair a few blisters and wanted to order some matching gel coat. My boat is a 1978 15ft striper. There is a post from Tom Clark (9/15/03) that lists the exterior gelcoat color for boats under 16-7 before 1980 as being outrage grey versus desert tan. Can anyone confirm for me the correct color for exterior gel-coat 1978 15ft hull? I am willing to assume that it is outrage grey but don't want to order the wrong stuff, thanks Hen |

Hen, I believe this is the thread you are referring to: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000368.html I also believe Chuck Bennett ( cbennett@whaler.com )at Boston Whaler Customer Service can verify this information as he's the one I got it from originally. Note: Spectrum Color calls Whaler's Outrage Grey "Lt. Grey" instead. |
