It looks like I need to replace the steering cables/assembly on my '63 and I was curious if I can use the tube on the front of my motor.
My old assembly pivots off a mount on the transom but my new set up has a CMC PT-130 and sets the new motor back 6".
Can I get rid of that setup and go to Teleflex's "The Rack" system? I was curious about the amount of bend that might have to be in the cable to make it happen.
