Does it matter what type of marine ply is used for the piece under the deck?

I would use a domestically made American Plywood Assoc. (APA) graded A-A or A-B marine fir plywood. The grading stamp should be applied to back / B side of the panel or ink jetted on the edges. Imported plywood would not carry an APA stamp.
