The project is coming along well. We shot the Awlgrip this weekend and it looks beautiful. Thus far everything has been done with the boat still in the water. The remainder of the deck, console and hatches will be finished this week and we can start putting the boat back together. For power, I've decided on a single 225 Honda 4-stroke to replace the Evinrude 115's (more on that later). Cut and paste the link below to check out the photos. Let me know what you think.

Abaco,

Nice job! The finish looks great. It's great to see the pictures with the deck up. Did you need to make deck repairs like JayR did with his project?

Steve,
A few questions: Did that corrosion on the gas tank come close to making the tank leak? Did you shoot the paint yourself? What was the cost? Will you be painting the sides and bottom? Keep the pictures coming and I would be grateful to take a look when you are done.

Joe,

As far as I can tell the corrosion was not close to going through but I'm sure it would have at some point. I hired a guy that I've used before to paint the deck of my sailboat. The guy is good. As for painting the topsides, I plan to buff them out with polish & wax. I will also be replacing the shear sripes.
