What's the best vinyl stain remover and/or cleaner? Does the 3M stuff work?

Simple Green works great. The 3M stuffs works well, too. More expensive, though. CLW |

When you say vinyl, I assume you mean Whaler's tan pleat or white seat/cooler cushion upholstery? If so, quite by spilling some by accident on my RPS, I discovered that Starbrite's Non-skid Deck Cleaner will make your tan pleat look like factory new. Spread it around with a scrub brush, let it sit, scrub to get dirt out of the vinyl crevices, and you'll be amazed. |

Whatever you clean with, use 303 as a protectant. It is a great product. Not sure of the manufacturer, but if you look for 303, you will find it without much trouble.

Greased Lightning... can be found at Lowe's in the gallon size for approximately $5.Cuts through everything. I use it on everything. |

Frontier,As I work in canvas, I know certain do's and don'ts. NO DO NO USE SIMPLE GREEN!!!!! AND NO GREASE LIGHTINING!!!!! Good way to ruin your glass guys!!! USE THESE: Plexus, Pledge furniture polish (without lemon becuase it will streak), carniba wax or the 3M Stuff. If you have Strataglass, which I have on my whaler, use strataglass cleaner that we sell. JAZZ |
