Hello all. My project boat doesn't have the original equipment because it was used as a bang-around work boat by some guy in Long Island in his buoy-tending business. As such, I don't know if it is an Eastport or a Nauset. The year is 1964. I know the Eastport had the optional rear seat. It looks like there was something back there at one time. Can I tell by the hull serial number? Thanks! |

Wayneman, In your case, the best way to find out what model your boat left the factory as is to send cbennett@whaler.com an email. Give him your numbers and he will give you all the info... The Eastport came standard with the Rear Seat... This is what made it an Eastport... Could you delete the Rear Seat when you ordered this model originally? Yes, but then you would have a Nauset... Chuck will tell you for sure..... |
