Tom -

Looks interesting so far! Reminded me of my renovation....a project I only wanna to once.

The transom area looks much different than mine, or any other 21's that I've run across. No back storage or small platform, and the rear step pads have the vertical area that mine do not have.

Don, Thanks- after installing the rubrail today my back is saying "never again" also! But, I know it will all be worth it in the end.As far as the transom area goes -this gives it a lot more room in the back for fishing but had my mind boggled quite a bit on how to install the tank.As I've previously mentioned the guy that started this project must not have thought it thru before the fiberglass work,he did'nt leave much room for running wires,no place to run the vent, and no place to run the fuel fill.I think I have all the kinks worked out-I still only have a half inch pipe to run wires, which should get me by,got the vent hose in place, and the fuel fill will be below the floor under a 6" round hatch plate and for the lid a 1 3/8" oil fill cap with the t handle that fits down in the 1 1/2" pipe.I'm waiting to give the tank another good coat or two of the spray on liner then its going in and the floor can go back down.Once thats done I got one or two more minor issues to deal with and a lot of work to do on the console I have for it and it will be taking the form of a boat again.Probably won't see it finished for a while yet as this is all bieng done out of pocket from my left over lunch money and the occasional pitty from my wife :)
