Mark D	posted 04-01-2004 01:07 PM ET (US)      I have a red compass housing that came with my early 80's Whaler. However the compass inside is broken. Its a ES Richie. Where can I get a replacement compass for the inside?

BillB	posted 04-02-2004 02:34 PM ET (US)             I followed the route that JB suggested and got a specific recommendation from Ritchie to use: Viking Instruments 524 Main St.,Weymouth,MA 02190 Phone:(781)331-3795. I bought a beautifully rebuilt mid-seventies Ritchie Navigator from them. The service was great and this guy specializes in rebuilding old Ritchies. Good Luck Bill

rwill1	posted 04-04-2004 12:44 AM ET (US)             Was this compass actually mounted on a fiberglass console? Sounds like an older OEM Nauset/Eastport/Sakonnet compass housing to me.
