Re doing a 13 ft , have been able to get a set of side and bow rails for a 17 ft anyone ever try to fit 17 to 13?"

I never tryed it myself, but they would be too wide and to long.

You could do it, but you have the cut down to size, take good measurments and is should word.

Why would you want to do this? This would be a bizarre looking rig and could make for a unbelievably cumbersome craft.

I was just browsing BassPro's website. They advertise bulk railing tube in 6' lengths. Cabela's has all sorts of fittings. If you know an electrician, you could get it bent to shape pretty cheap...

Rick10,

The rails from a 16'-7" hull will not fit a 13 foot hull.

You'll do much better to sell what you have and apply the proceeds from the sale to the purchase of correct rails for your 13.
