Topic:   Bolt hole alignment

posted 05-08-2004 04:02 PM ET (US)      My most recent acquisition, a 1970 13', originally had a Johnson engine, but was removed before I bought it. I bought a 40 hp Yamaha for it, but the bolt holes don't line up. I see my options as: 1. Plug the old holes with dowels and 5200 and drill new holes. 2. See if there is a adapter bracket that would allow me to use the old and new holes, other than a jack-plate which I don't otherwise need or want. 3. Buy large quantities of baling wire, duct tape, superglue... Any suggestions? Richard
