I've got a suzuki df70 on my 1971 nauset. There's about 200 hours on the engine. I've got the suzuki flush mount binnacle controls. The problem is the throttle will slowly drift to neutral, so that you constantly have to hold the throttle in place. I looked in the manual but can't seem to find the throttle friction adjustment procedure. Can anyone help?

thanks in advance.

Try posting this on the iboats.com site in the forum section for your motor. Those guys over there are very knowledgeable.

Remove the cover and find the friction screw.
