Anyone know where to find plands for a filler panel for the cuddy? There is a nice picture on Jim's Cetacea P46 that shows the panel in place (supposedly covering a porta potty). I would either like to find somone who can fabricate this to match the original BW wood and quality, or at least find plans to try the fabrication myself. Thanks in advance. Regards, Will

If you want the filler panel to serve as a filler for a vee-berth, I would recommend just making your own. I did this on my Revenge, creating a much nicer sleeping accommodation than that formed by the small filler panel which Boston Whaler sold as an option. |

Tomales, Building a better filler panel is on my winter project list. My boat came with a crude homemade plywood panel that overhangs the wooden lips on the port, starboard and bow gear lockers. It works fine for sleeping, but is heavy, unwieldy and really in the way when you are not sleeping. I plan to build a sectional panel that can easily be stored on the boat when not in use. I am working on a few back of the envelope designs, and I'll keep you posted as I progress. I doubt I'll have time to work on it anytime before the holidays this year. |
