I am replacing the springs on the Magic Tilt trailer that came with my 97 Montauk. They had been replaced a couple of years ago but with 27" springs. Hole to hole center in the spring carriers is 23 1/2 inches. The extra long springs allowed the springs to push up and aft in a pot hole and they would stay locked against the frame. It took a crow bar to pop them down. I need some advise about what size ( length ) to install and an idea of how many leafs. Many thanks, Henry Brigham Rockport, Texas
