Has anyone upgraded their trailer to torsion axles?

I tow a buddies Ranger with them, and they are very very smooth. This would also eliminate those rusty springs.

I looked at the new Pacific Trailer catalog, and they do not list them.

I am also interested in SS disc brakes. Though it is only a 17 Whaler, with a trailered weight of under 3000 lbs, stopping our 22 Grady 226 Seafarer with quad disc brakes in my '03 Avalanche is easier. That's about double the weight!
I figure you can never have too much braking.

FISNFF - This subject has been kicked around just a few days ago in the GAM forum - quite a bit of information there. ---- Jerry/Idaho
