I have an '86 Montauk with a butchered teak anchor locker. A prior owner cut several large holes in order to install a pedestal (bass fishin’) seat and to route cables for his trolling motor. I just want a proper teak hatch. I searched prior posts but didn’t find plans, though I’m SURE others have replaced the hatch before. So does anyone have a set of plans? Or better yet does anyone have a hatch (w/out holes) to sell? Thanks.

Any luck? I got the same problem.

Just got a 1985 17' Montauk whose wood trim is in really bad shape, especially the anchor stowage hatch cover. Some of the wood is definitely past the restoration stage, and I lack the time, skill, and patience necessary to restore it anyway. I really like the look of the wood trim and would prefer to retain it. (I am willing to do the work necessary to maintain wood trim, once I've got replacements in place.) If I can purchase wood trim, then I 'd like to do so. If not, I'm looking for any kind of replacement, so I can go fishing (which is why I bought the boat.) Suggestions?
