Larry	posted 05-02-2005 01:58 PM ET (US)         I know this is a question only a sailboater could ask. My manual says the gear lube should be OMC Ultra-HPF. I am very unfamilar with outboards. There are no "OMC" sources near me. Can I use any brand high viscosity gear lube or is there something special about the "HPF". The local marine store did not know and I am overdue for a lube change.
