Hi all, My "Accessory socket" (is that what the thing's called - you know - the cigarette lighter plug thingie) is DOA and needs to be replaced. Is this a standard Perko or other item on an '87 Montuak? Anyone have a part name/number they would like to share? Thanks in advance. Chris |

You can buy them at West Marine, or other boating stores if you cannot find it from Whaler. Go to www.whalerparts.com to look for the number. BillS |

Chris, The best ones I have found are Swedish and imported by Anderson Marine Div. Peterson Mfg. Co. - Part #E2730S - Accessory Socket. Most marine outlets carry them. These are all black plastic/nylon and have an attached rubber cap to seal the socket when not in use. These absolutely will not corrode like the cheap metal ones. Steve |
