I have ordered a 24 gallon fiberglass fuel tank for my 2005 Montauk. What type and brand of fuel fittings do I need to purchase prior to installation?

I would expect the tank to come with a hose barb fitting--at least it ought to for the price! If it does not, you will need a brass hose barb to connect your fuel hose to the tank. As far as brand, one brass hose barb is probably as good as the other. Your local hardware store sells generic brands; you can get a marine store one with a brand name on it for three times the price.

If you want to use a connector so the hose can be removed from the tank, there are many different styles available. Most of the time the brand of motor dictates the style of connector used on fuel hose, not the brand of the fuel tank.
