Was wondering about attempting to replace the scuppers on my 1968 Sakonnet.I have no idea if they have ever been replaced and am assuming they are the origionals. I am concerned about possible water intrusion into the hull but so far see no evidence of any.Is this something that should be done or should i leave well enough alone and how difficult of a job would it be?

Tom, great boat if this is the same one that was just sent to me. If you don't see problems around the scuppers, swelling or corrosion, I'd leave alone. There might be others on this sight that differ for good reason so take it all in befor making that decision. You did say this was all freshwater up till now right? Once again, beautiful boat, Capt.T

Thanks very much for your input.I'll have to look again for the things you mentioned, but don't believe there is any indication of such swelling. It has been in fresh water untill now. Thanks again,Tom.
