Last winter I had an aluminum prop rebuilt. It looked good and ran fine. Last weekend I got into some shallow debris and the prop threw off all the repaired areas. should I have it rebuilt again. rebuild for $50 new for $115.

Hal,

If I were you I'd just buy an undamaged prop off Ebay for $50.

Actually I'd buy a stainless steel prop. I trashed a lot of aluminum props when I was younger. Since I've been running stainless steel I've never had to repair a prop. Stainless steel is TOUGH.

Hal,

You may want to list what you are looking for, someone here may have one for you. I have a 13 1/4 x 21P Merc Black Max in perfect condition that I am going to list on e.bay. Don't know if that would help you.

E.Bay is a good way to go, just question the seller to make sure the prop hasn't been repaired or reconditioned.
