I own a 1986 Montuak and I noticed some chips in the fiber glass along the forward chines (the smirk) of the hull so that small parts of fiber glass are sticking through and I was wondering how I should go about fixing it? Do you guys think that just injecting some West Systems in there would suffice to seal up the chips? Thanks.

The reference section of this site contains a great document with pictures on this subject. I like Marine-Tex epoxy for filling divots and chips because it has a white base, is already thickened, and can be tinted to match the gel coat.
