IThe "Hull Identification Number" listed on mt title reads as "8937618" I have looked at the information offered on this site and am unable to determine the hull number I have. The reason I wish to do so, is on the "13' wood locating diagram" it lists a wooden piece in the center of the bow next to the cleat (or handgrips?) as present "in hulls after 4106 only" Further, there is another piece of wood in the transom behind the handgrip "in hulls after 4367 only." How does one determine what hull one has?

Thanks!

Oliver,

Boats made in 1969 did not have HINs. The HIN you have was assigned later, probably by a state that requires one.

What your boat does have is a Stenciled Number. This number can be found in the splashwell and/or in the bow locker. This is the number referred to on the wood locating diagram.
