Hines Pointer	posted 06-08-2006 12:49 PM ET (US)      Does anyone know of a boat yard in CT that does soda blasting? I've checked with a few without luck. Also, as mentioned in a recent discussion, does soda blasting off bottom paint result in smooth, undamaged fiberglass on the bottom that can be waxed to the same shine as the rest of the hull?
Mister S	posted 06-08-2006 02:40 PM ET (US)          There's a mobile company called CT Soda Blast, I believe out of the Branford area. Could probably Google to find them. I don't think the finished product will be something you can just wax to a good finish.
crabby	posted 06-08-2006 07:45 PM ET (US)             I don't know about Connecticut but here on LI if you look in the yellow pages there are quite a few shops that handle soda blasting (not just boat yards).
