billmontauk	posted 11-12-2006 09:42 AM ET (US)      I want to remove the big whaler decals that were on the boat when I purchased. Will this leave a faded look or will it buff out.
Dan	posted 11-12-2006 09:58 AM ET (US)             Most likely you will see a shadow of where the decals were. My boat had it's big decals removed by a previous owner. Personally, I love the way the big decals look. The most recent owner of my Whaler named it No Worries -- I'm planning on removing this and buying the big Whaler decals which are $108.
The Judge	posted 11-14-2006 02:44 PM ET (US)             I have removed some that buff out and some that are raised where the letters were so it looks and feels like hell. If damaged, remove them and see what gives. Usually a wetsand and buff will do the trick. If not at least you will know where the new ones will go.
