Topic:   Replacement Rule 1100 Bilge Pump

posted 05-01-2007 06:31 AM ET (US)         Hello All. On a 1984 Outrage 18 I currently I have an old RULE 500 sump pump whose automatic cycle has quit working. I want to replace it with the RULE 1100 model as some Whaler owners have done. I noticed that in the specifications the foot print of the 1100 is 5-inches wide--wider than the 500 series. Will that fit with no problem in the bilge area? Thanks
