Well, after a year I'm reporting on my use of the Interlux boat wax and sealer combo. Last season I made one application of the wax using a Porter Cable buffer and sealed the application with one coat of the sealer product. After 1 season (7 months in the water at the slip and the rest in a cradle) I can report that the product performed very well. It still beaded water after the winter layup.

This season, I cleaned the boat and did a follow-up waxing and sealing before the NorCal Rendezvous last week, and the boat looked great. The boat is 9 years old this season, and was kept by a CW owner in Texas prior to my purchase. This is its 3rd season on SF bay. A buddy in NJ commented on the shine when I sent in a picture, so I thought I'd share this with you. Very satisfied in the product.

Thanks for sharing. I just detailed my boat in Florida this spring and used the Interlux sealant after compounding/waxing. I really was impressed with the wipe on application, shine and UV protectant qualities of the product. I am expecting it only to last until July, though given the strong sun in the South.
