I'm having a hard time deciding between two spots on my crowded console to mount a Lenco trim switch. The spot on top of the console to the right of the compass is a perfect reach where I can lay the palm of my hand on the edge. The other spot to the left of the steering wheel where the blue tape is seem more visually appropriate but I'd have to reach thru the wheel. Not sure if that's a big deal or not considering I've never had trim tabs and not sure how often I'll need to make adjustments.

What do you think? Any other spots you can suggest? It requires drilling a 2-inch hole. Would like to have this done tomorrow so I can test ride it on Saturday!!!

You do not want a switch that you have to reach through the steering wheel to use. Bad idea.

Relocate the engine ignition switch to another less prominent position. Install the trim tab control switches in the area where the ignition switch was installed.
