Would anyone know if the specifications or working drawings are available for the 1986 Montauk- I recently purchased on e and woo like to restore it back to the original seats using mahogany. thanks glenn

That must not be a Montauk you are talking about, Glenn.

The 1986 Montauk had only the RPS (reversible pilot seat) with a mahogany back (might have been optional in '86) and an Igloo cooler in front of the center console.

You must have a different model in mind.

You are correct- it is an rps- the more I learn the less I know it seems- It is my first Whaler- still learning the terms- but it is a Montauck 17 and has the mahogany switch back seat- I have seen pictures up close on it- it does not look too dificult to reproduce-
