mixerman55	posted 01-09-2008 01:49 PM ET (US)         I have a johnson seahorse model number RDS-24 Serial number 340817 can anyone out there give me the size of this outboard motor
JBCornwell	posted 01-09-2008 05:28 PM ET (US)             That's a 1962 40HP, Mixerman. Be sure to use a 24:1 fuel mix. It uses Champion J4C (replaced J4J) plugs gapped at .030", and the magneto points are set at .020". Red sky at night. . . JB
