posted 06-09-2008 03:02 PM ET (US)         Does a 6hp 4-s Johnson (2001 or 2002) have an overheat shut off sensor? (Kills the engine if it gets too hot and won't let you start it untill it cools down.) And would anyone in the PNW be interested in trading/buying for the above motor? It has only been used on the tender, and has really low hours, maybe ~70hrs (+/- 20). All my other engines are mercs. and I would like to swap to a 9.9 merc 4-s (2002 or newer). Thanks.
