chrisebradley	posted 06-17-2008 04:16 PM ET (US)         any one know the height of the back seat in 1971 sport 13' whaler? I am thinking of trying to get a gas tank under it. The boat is at the lake, so I can not get a tape measure on it. Thanks,
pglein	posted 06-17-2008 04:40 PM ET (US)             I'm going from memory here, but I want to say you've got about a 7" maximum clearance under there. My experience has been that there are no commercially available tanks that will fit under the rear seat, except perhaps a Pate Plastics that is specifically designed for it. Though it may be that that tank is meant for the front seat. One thing I do know is that the Tempo one that was previously available (prior to their shutdown) would only fit under the front seat.
