Just rigged with my son [a Boston Whaler classic NAUSET with a Mercury 60-HP Bigfoot motor] and a CMC jack plate with setback. Water comes shooting through between [the motor and the] transom upon acceleration and deceleration. Also, may be unrelated but [the Mercury 60-HP Bigfoot] bogs down on acceleration. [Give me] any thoughts.
